Thank you for the wonderful wedding service! The music was absolutely perfect, and the livestream sound and image quality was excellent. Highly recommended!"

From my teenage years to the present time I have always enjoyed listening to the organ, whilst knowing very little about its workings.

I was recently given an 'Introduction to the Organ' voucher as a birthday gift, and I learned so much from the experience!

To anyone with a modicum of interest in the organ, I can highly recommend that you join Richard for a session. He doesn't ask you to do anything difficult (which was a relief to me!), and he is very gentle and patient, as well as being extremely knowledgeable!

News

Hello everyone, and welcome to my latest update.

As I write this, we are in the middle of a BIG heatwave at the end of June. I was playing for a funeral yesterday and felt so sorry for the Funeral Directors in their black tails and waistcoats. I was, as always, in a black suit, white shirt and tie, but I did leave my jacket in the car. There are times when that just needs to be done!

IIsabel turns 21 in July. I can't believe it. She will have broken up from college just in time for her birthday. Unfortunately, I will be in Lourdes playing the organ for a pilgrimage, but Isabel has okayed that. I'll make up for it when I get back!

The Yellow Peril is in the body shop having all her rust dealt with. There was more than first thought, so I shan't get her back until mid-July. She will be ready for my trip to France in August. Vroom vroom!

I don't seem to have an awful lot of news. Life just continues to be busy, for which I am thankful, and everyone in Richard World is well, for which I am also thankful.

I think it's about time to have air-conditioning installed, particularly in the conservatory where my organ lives. It's too hot out there to practise at the moment. Phew! Stay cool!

Best wishes,

Richard
