OK, OK, mea culpa!I've not updated this for a good few months, so apologies for that. It's no excuse, but I've been busy busy busy. This week, however, I have no funerals to play for. My organist
colleagues also have empty diaries. Is something going on we don't know about??
The RCO trip to Paris and Rouen was excellent, but seems a very long time ago now. Actually, it was! We played some amazing Cavaillé-Coll instruments, including St Ouen, Rouen. WOW!
Some good news is that I have tidied my den/office, and it looks a whole lot better. All it needs now is a new carpet, but that's easier said than done!
As well as playing at St. Mary's, Hornchurch, I am spending a morning each week at the attached primary school teaching singing. I see the whole school across three hours, and have started a
fledgling choir. It's something out of my comfort zone, and I'm enjoying being part of the school community.
That's it for now, so I'll catch up with you all soon.....honest! BUT.....in case I don't, can I wish you a prayerful Advent, a wonderful Christmas, and a great
start to the New Year.
